“The Lanka Japan Friendship Society organized an excursion to the Pandanus Beach Resort in Induruwa on Sunday 30th April 2017 and 35 LJFS members and their guests participated in this trip with the journey commencing from the Sasakawa Hall. A 40 seater air-conditioned coach, with “breakfast on wheels”, was organized for the convenience of those participating.
All those attending had a whale of time, by relaxing, networking and taking part in fun games, organized by Tony Saldin and Fred Medis. The hotel had also arranged some traditional New year games, in addition to providing pool facilities. An International buffet lunch and afternoon tea and snacks was enjoyed by everybody, and a Calypso band provided entertainment.
This fun trip was organized by our evergreen Hony. General Secretary Chandra Jayatilleka.
Our thanks also go to GM Mr. Anton Perera of Pandanus Beach Resorts for giving us a good rate, Thushen Selvanayagam, Manager Sales and Marketing, Miss: Dilmini Bandara, Reservations Executive, and the animator Manjula for taking care of us and making us comfortable. We also thank all other staff of the hotel who were assigned to us, and who were helpful.
