Lanka Japan Friendship Society held their 56th AGM

“The Lanka Japan Friendship Society (LJFS) held their 56th AGM commencing at 6pm at the Sasakawa Cultural Centre Auditorium on Friday 22nd May 2015. The Chief Guest was His Excellency Nobuhito Hobo, Ambassador for Japan to Sri Lanka. The AGM was chaired by Mr. Sumana D. Liyanage, President who was re-elected for another year. The meeting was conducted as per the Agenda which appears under News, in this website. A new executive committee for the year 2015/2016 was elected and the new list of EXCO members appears on the home page. The constitution which was also amended underwent drastic changes this year.
Members present were given complimentary dinner, and had a lively time on the dance floor with a band in attendance.. ”
