Beach Resort in Induruwa on Sunday 30th April 2017 and 35 LJFS members and
their guests participated in this trip with the journey commencing from the
Sasakawa Hall. A 40 seater air-conditioned coach, with “breakfast on wheels”,

LJFS held a fellowship Nite on 13th September 2014. This was a well-attended function where the members, their families and well-wishers and Expatriate Community participated. The Chief Guest at this function was Madam Asako Okai Minister and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan.
It was a tour of historical places, the participants were able to visit the famous Granite Statue of Lord Buddha and Ridivihara. It was a very well organized programme.
The Society celebrated the World Elder's Day on 5th October 2014 at Sanhida Elder's Home in association with Dr Some Edirisinghe, Vice President of LJFS. LJFS provided the Evening Tea, and Sanhinda organised the entertaintment programme. Over 60 elder's participated. They all enjoyed the Event.
