The Executive Committee members of the Lanka Japan Friendship Society” together with their spouses went on a trip to spend the day at the Hotel Tree of Life, whose Managing Director is Mr. Shelly Thenuwara, one of our Vice Presidents.

The members had a whale of a time, singing, dancing, swimming and taking part in indoor games. The birthdays of both the President and Shelly was also celebrated.

The members were treated to a sumptuous buffet lunch, laid out at the “Kospela” Restaurant, where a calypso band was in attendance.

Thanks are due to Kadirgama Rajah, Nishanthi Galhena, Sunitha Wijepala and Shelly Thenuwara went out of their way to organize this trip. The committee also Thanks all those who contributed towards the trip in cash and kind.
