The LJFS EXCO hosted Mr. Kotaro Katsuki, Minister Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Japanese Embassy, to dinner on Thursday 8th Aug 2024 at the Kamakura Japanese Restaurant, Imperial Monarach, Sri Jayawardenapura.

25 persons were present for the dinner and fellowship.

IPP & Vice Patron Merrick Gooneratne, VP Jayaraja Chandrasekera, General Secretary Samadara Mampitiye and the President were involved in organizing the get-together.

A coffee table book on the history of Sri Lanka, autographed by all those present for the dinner was also gifted to Katsuki san as a memento.

Katsuki san is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka towards end Aug 2024 and will be posted to the Japanese embassy in the UK.
