Kenichi Suganuma, Ambassador of Japan in Sri Lanka, conferred "The Orders of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon" upon Das Wijeratne and Frederick Mendis, on behalf of the Emperor of japan, at a special ceremony held on Thursday (18) at the Ambassador's residence in Colombo, Japanese Embassy in Colombo said.
